There was a multi-vehicle collision on Saturday, March 14, 2015 that left several cars damaged and killed one person. The accident occurred on Interstate Highway 580 in Contra Costa County. Multi-vehicle accidents are very serious because they often result in many injuries and even deaths. Legally, they are challenging because it may be difficult to determine liability in a case like this. Often, there are several people at fault in a multi-vehicle accident. However, the first few people involved in the crash will generally take the brunt of the blame.

Anyone that has been involved in the crash should consult an experienced personal injury attorney who can carefully weigh their legal options for them. You will not know if you have a case if you do not ask. It may be that you will be unable to recover anything, but, on the other hand, you could have all your medical expenses, damages to your vehcile, and pain and suffering covered. Discussing your legal options with an attorney will help you have the information that you need to make an informed decision.
